Biography Michael Vigorito is licensed in California as a Marriage & Family Therapist [MFC41512], providing individual, couples and group psychotherapy in his private practice, San Diego Psychotherapy Services.  He earned his Master's degree in Community Counseling, Human Services and Bachelor's degree in Psychology from The College of New Jersey. Among his areas of expertise, Mr. Vigorito treats adults concerned about their sexual identity, substance abuse, depression and anxiety, HIV/AIDS and out of control sexual behaviors.  Mr. Vigorito works with same and opposite sex couples concerned about various relationship issues including poor communication, conflict resolution, intimacy, and sexual health. In addition, Mr. Vigorito has presented at statewide conferences and to general audiences on topics ranging from out of control sexual behaviors, sexual identity development and sexual health.  Mr. Vigorito provides trainings and consultations on issues of sexual identity development, domestic violence and assessing out of control sexual behavior. Mr. Vigorito is a member of the California Association of Marriage & Family Therapists, the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists, and the American Group Psychotherapy Association.
