Biography

Michael Vigorito is licensed in California as a Marriage & Family Therapist [MFC41512], is a Certified Group Psychotherapist, and provides individual, couple and group psychotherapy in his private practice, San Diego Psychotherapy Services.  Mr. Vigorito earned his Master's Degree in Counseling from The College of New Jersey and has conducted psychotherapy for 10 years.  Mr. Vigorito presents locally and nationally on topics ranging from out of control sexual behavior assessment and treatment, sexual identity development and sexual health. In addition to his private practice, Mr. Vigorito is the clinical supervisor for  HIV services in the Counseling Department at Jewish Family Service of San Diego.

Mr. Vigorito is a member of the California Association of Marriage & Family Therapists, the American Group Psychotherapy Association, the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality, and the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists.
